Early Bird Gets the Treadmill

In the spirit of starting strong I planned to wake up early for my first day of logged training. I know what you’re thinking: yes, 9 a.m. is very early for me and no I am most certainly not joking.

Unfortunately that seemed to be too great a goal for me to begin with. So armed with my playlist entitled “bathing suit body,” I plan to get 30 minutes of cardio in with interval  work on the treadmill and some kind of core training, which will probably just be a few crunches and stretching on the mat. I’m really hoping this work out will prompt healthy eating, as exercise usually does for me. As far as that goes, I’m relying on this site for a few dinner ideas: http://www.self.com/tips/jumpstart/meals/jillian-michaels-fat-burning-me…

Why (attempt) a wake-up at the ungodly hour of 9 a.m. to workout if my eating habits are working against that goal, right? That said, I would greatly appreciate some support and a few work out buddies. Leave comments below and find me on facebook.

Disclaimer: The photo is one I took from my dorm window while I watched the sunrise about a week ago. This seems contradictory to the above statement about 9 a.m. being early, however, I took the picture after an all-nighter. So technically it was a late night, not an early morning – I’m not a morning person. I think it is a good photo to begin the blog with. Also, it’s good to remember anytime of the day can feel like 6 a.m. on no sleep.
