Donald Trump Jr. Thinks Women Who Don’t Like Sexual Harassment Shouldn’t Be Working

The sleazy apple does not fall far from the Trump family tree.

A 2013 appearance by Donald Trump Jr. on The Opie and Anthony Show has been uncovered by BuzzFeed News. In the interview, Trump Jr. shared his deplorable opinion of how he feels women should handle sexual harassment in the workplace.

“If you can’t handle some of the basic stuff that’s become a problem in the workforce today, then you don’t belong in the workforce,” Trump Jr. said. “Like, you should go maybe teach kindergarten. I think it’s a respectable position.”

While implying that women can’t negotiate “billion-dollar deals” if they can’t handle being sexually harassed in the workplace is utterly offensive, it is not surprising given the way Trump Jr.’s father talks about women.

When asked how his daughter Ivanka should handle sexual harassment in the workplace, Trump told USA Today, “I would like to think she would find another career or find another company if that was the case.”

The comments made by Trump Sr. and Trump Jr. are especially concerning due to recent developments—just a week ago, a video from 2005 was released in which Trump talked about groping and kissing women without their consent.

“When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump said on the tape.

Since the release of the footage, several women have come forward with sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump.
