Lana Del Rey Has A Family TikTok Account & The Content Is Too Good

Being on Lana Del Rey-Tok is paying off, TBH. Ahead of the release of her 2022 single, “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard,” I already knew that new music was around the corner. How is that, you might ask? Well, if you haven’t noticed, Del Rey fans are ride or die, and they always seem to find out the hottest news, release dates, and interesting facts about their proclaimed “mother” ahead of just about everyone in the world. Yes, TikTok is a place where just about every single question can be answered nowadays, and it seems that Del Rey is using her own *secret* account to interact with fans. Yes, you read that right: Lana Del Rey has her own TikTok account, and you need to follow it ASAP.

Through and through Del Rey fans know that the artist has become increasingly private with her social media over the past few years. Del Rey has repeatedly been criticized by the media which eventually lead to her deleting all of her social media accounts, except for her one and only private @Honeymoon Instagram account. Oh, how the tide has turned, though, because Del Rey is now on TikTok!

However, most people don’t know about her account. Why is that? Well, for starters, the page isn’t verified like many other celebrities accounts are. Secondly, the account is actually a family account shared by the Grants (cough cough, Del Rey’s real name is Elizabeth Grant). How do I know that? Well, the bio of the account reads “Grant family,” that’s how.

@FamilyHeirlooms on TikTok shared their first video on July 3, 2020, seemingly filmed by Del Rey herself. While the page hasn’t consistently posted since then, they made a comeback on Feb. 16, 2022 when sharing a video of fans in New York City reciting Del Rey trivia to receive a copy of her recent spread with Interview Magazine

Kso they delete it if it’s longer than 60 seconds. Got it.

And the posts didn’t stop there — Del Rey then posted a series of self-filmed videos of herself wearing merch and dancing to her latest single, A&W. Captioning her video, “K[ay]so they delete it if it’s longer than 60 seconds. Got it,” it seems that Del Rey is playing around with the app learning how to use the popular social media platform. @FamilyHeirlooms even commented on the same video stating, “I will.” What will Del Rey do? I don’t know, but I’m living for her commenting on her own video.

How am I certain that this is Del Rey herself posting on the mysterious TikTok account that only has a little over 545,000 followers? Well, she’s been commenting on other videos telling us it’s her, that’s how. One on video, a user commented “CHARLIE,” assuming that it was her brother posting on the account, to which she replied back, “No Lana.” The replies have just kept coming, and she even let users know that she just started posting again stating that, “I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s a family account soooo.”

The account has also posted videos promoting Del Rey’s father, Rob Grant, and his new album. Yes: Del Rey’s dad is about to release an album of his own. Footage of him shooting what seems to be an album cover on a boat with seagulls majestically floating behind him resemble that of Del Rey’s studio album, Normal F***ing Rockwell. It is iconic, to say the least.

@FamilyHeirlooms has already started deleting videos that they recently posted, so if you’re looking to check out the Grant family’s content, I’d say you need to follow ASAP. Who knows how long Del Rey will be in her active era, but for now, I’m just going to soak it up while it lasts.
