A woman came up to me and asked if I was a dancer…
I looked at her with fiery eyes and wanted to smirk and say, “yes”. Instead, I politely told her, “no, I’m not.” But that was not true. When Beyonce’s soaring voice and the hom hook of “Crazy In Love” collide with my eardrums, I become one. I become a bonafide gyrating, pelvic thrusting, hair whipping dancer.

Dancing is by far my favorite workout. It’s amazing how much you can sweat after forty-five minutes of hip shaking, kick crossovers, chest popping, body rolling,
Dancing is so effective because one, it’s constant cardio—nonstop moves where you quickly contract and then relax the muscles in your body—which equals mega calorie burn (yeah, man!). This will break up the monotony that your body is used to during the remainder of the week. I say try and do a dance routine for a minimum of thirty minutes at least once a week to challenge those muscles that the treadmill, weight lifting machines and the elliptical machine don’t utilize as much. Get your hear rate soaring, breath ragged and sweat pouring down your face!
I promise, you’ll feel sexier when it’s all over.
