‘DWTS’ Is Doing A Taylor Swift-Themed Night & Swifties Are Ready To Dance

Besties, it’s time to get ready for the collab of the century! Two of today’s biggest cultural phenomenons, Dancing With The Stars and Taylor Swift, are set to join forces for a special DWTS episode titled “A Celebration Of Taylor Swift.” Announced on Nov. 6, it will air on Nov. 21 and feature the remaining DWTS contestants dancing along to Swift’s music as they compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Amid her record-breaking Eras Tour that celebrated the superstar’s music over the years, Dancing With The Stars is making sure to represent Swift’s career as a whole through their song choices.

Several Swifties, especially those also passionate about dance, are “Ready For It” (pun intended) and have been sharing some incredible reactions to this news on X (formerly known as Twitter).

With the episode airing the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, some Swifties are using it to start a community gathering of their own!

Many Swifties agree that “Lover” and “Dancing With Our Hands Tied” would work perfectly for a Dancing With The Stars routine.

Others are hoping for “Enchanted” and “Getaway Car,” and I simply can’t unsee the concept of one dancer dressed as Loki for the latter.

Fans can watch Season 32 of Dancing With The Stars every Tuesday at 8pm EST, on Disney+ and ABC. As of Nov. 6, six couples remain, Xochitl Gomez & Val Chmerkovisky, Alyson Hannigan & Sasha Farber, Harry Jowsey & Rylee Arnold, Charity Lawson & Artem Chingvintsev, Ariana Madix & Pasha Pashkov, Jason Mraz & Daniella Karagach, Lele Pons & Brandon Armstrong, and Barry Williams & Peta Murgatroyd. Each week, viewers determine which couple is eliminated from the competition by placing online votes combined with the judges’ scores. Rylee Arnold & Harry Jowsey had the lowest score the week of Oct. 30, while Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovsky were in the lead.

The news of a Taylor Swift-themed Dancing With The Stars episode arrives shortly before the South America leg of the Eras Tour begins in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Needless to say, I am beyond seated for a crossover between two of my favorite things!
