Ladies, it’s official. Your smartphones, the devices which connect you with the outside world, link you to social media, serve as a receptacle for shameless selfies and drunk Tinder swipes, is now bringing you something even greater: happiness. Or at least as close to happiness as you can get… meaning, Girl Scout cookies. That’s right, the Girl Scouts have just released a new app that puts you one step closer to cookie nirvana.
The app, simply titled “Girl Scout Cookie Finder,” was unveiled to the public this week, available for free in the App Store and on Google Play. According to the organization’s website, you can “use the app to find the cookie booth closest to you (including the time, date and location of the sale), contact your local Girl Scout council, and access the complete listing of Girl Scout Cookies available—in every Zip code across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.” By simply pressing the “Find Cookies Now!” button, you can use your phone’s GPS to sniff out the Samoas closest to you.
