Conan Gray’s Album ‘Found Heaven’ Is Almost Here — Here’s Everything We Know

Conan Gray’s loyal fans might know him for his trademark sad bops about love and family life. But his latest single “Lonely Dancers,” which dropped on Feb. 9,  marks a pretty significant departure from that. It’s an upbeat dance track that will undoubtedly become a staple at clubs in the coming weeks. As if that wasn’t enough of a serve, he premiered an 80s-inspired, action-packed music video to accompany the song.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a cathartic anthem to cry in the shower to, but “Lonely Dancers” resonates in its own way. The song and music video made me feel seen, as my #1 coping strategy for any obstacle in life is to put some music on and dance it out. That catchy hook – “la la la la, cry” – will be stuck in my head for the foreseeable future. If this is truly a taste of the vibes of Gray’s upcoming album Found Heaven, I’m sat. Gray has begun to reveal more and more about the project, but here’s everything we know so far!

WHEN WILL FOUND HEAVEN BE RELEASED?

On Jan. 31, Gray revealed the album name, cover, and release date on social media. The announcement came shortly after the singer hid promotional posters in record stores across the country, each with a different letter of the album’s title, so fans could decipher it first. Found Heaven follows the yellow, starry aesthetic that Gray has kept for the past few months, and it’s coming out on April 5.

WHAT MERCH WILL BE SOLD IN THE FOUND HEAVEN ERA?

On Feb. 2, Gray posted a picture of a cable knit sweater with the letters ”FH,” which most likely stands for Found Heaven. Fans can also buy a Found Heaven box set with a stainless steel necklace on his website. I don’t even want to know what other merch he has in store for us. My bank account will surely not be happy.

WHAT SONGS WILL BE ON THE FOUND HEAVEN TRACKLIST?

Other than “Lonely Dancers,” as well as previously released singles “Never Ending Song,” “Winner,” and “Killing Me,” Gray has not revealed an official tracklist for Found Heaven. Instead of his longtime collaborator Dan Nigro, Max Martin holds production credits on most of the songs.

WILL CONAN GRAY HOLD ANY FAN EVENTS FOR FOUND HEAVEN?

He already has! On Dec. 4, 2023, Gray invited a small group of hand-selected fans to hear a few Found Heaven songs early. After rocking out to “Lonely Dancers” for the first time on Feb. 9, I now know how these lucky fans must’ve felt at the listening party.

Who else is impatiently counting down the days until Apr. 5? I’m beyond ready for new music from Gray to help me get in my feels.
