If we had to rank celebrity breakups we took the hardest in 2017 (or you know, maybe, ever), Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’ separation and divorce nearly a year ago would definitely top that list. Although our hearts were totally broken, we knew that we’d eventually have to deal with watching them both date someone else at some point — and on Chris’ end, that time has unfortunately come.
As E! News first reported, Chris Pratt has reportedly been quietly dating Katherine Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter, for *two* months now. The two were reportedly spotted on a picnic together last week, and rumors have been swirling ever since — which a source has now officially confirmed.
“It’s still very new between Chris and Katherine but the picnic was not their first date. They have been on multiple low key dates and have been talking consistently for the last two months or so,” the source told E!. “They both really like each other. Chris is smitten by Katherine and is super happy about how it’s going so far.”
Welp, so that’s that. If it’s any consolation, Faris and Pratt have been nothing but amicable with each other in the year following the announcement of their split. They’ve both made it pretty clear that they plan to remain super close friends, even though they’re no longer a couple — and Anna was even reportedly totally cool with those (false) rumors that her ex was dating Olivia Munn, so no hard feelings here.
“We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends,” Anna told People following their split. “There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me still. We watched each other grow up, and he still cracks me up all the time.”
