Chloë Grace Moretz Wanted Plastic Surgery When She Was 16

In an interview with Elle, 19-year-old Chloë Grace Moretz admits that just a few years ago she wanted to drastically change her body.

The actress states, “When I was 16…I wanted a boob job. I wanted the fat pad under my chin to be removed. I wanted a butt reduction.” When her mother gave these suggestions a stern “no,” Moretz says she was able to recognize the “power within [her] insecurities.”

Moretz, who recently found herself in hot water for criticizing Kim Kardashian’s Internet-breaking nude selfie, has never been afraid to get candid about herself and her opinions. In her talk with Elle, she also discusses her casual chats with Hillary Clinton about the future of women and the issues with access to higher education in the United States. Just another day in Hollywood, apparently!

Moretz also touches on the support she receives from her boyfriend, Brooklyn Beckham, whenever her confidence wanes. It’s safe to say we are pretty jealous of Moretz’s life. How is she only 19?! There’s definitely no way we could keep our composure around Hillary Clinton, let alone anyone with the last name Beckham.

Chloë is taking it all in stride, though, not only through her impressive acting chops but also as “an outspoken advocate for body positivity and millennial feminism.” She may have slipped up in her Kim K call-out, but it’s safe to say Moretz is going places and we want to be front row to witness it.
