Cher’s Rendition of an ABBA Favorite Debuted in a New ‘Mamma Mia’ Trailer & She Already Deserves a Grammy

If you didn’t get to tune into the Grammy Awards last night, the latest trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Mamma Mia! debuted during the broadcast. While this may not seem more exciting than any other movie trailer, this sneak peek featured not only Cher but also her spin on ABBA’s “Fernando” that we all know is going to be a hit.

Returning to the big screen after an eight-year hiatus, Cher will play the grandmother of Amanda Seyfried’s character, Sophie.

Fans were thrilled to finally receive confirmation that Cher would be joining the cast. She released a series of tweets back in October hinting at the new rendition of the ABBA classic.

And until July rolls around, we’ll definitely be blasting the trailers in the shower without shame because I’m sure we can all agree that five months is way too long to wait.
