Calling All Shopaholics — This Job Will Pay You to Shop & You Get to Keep Everything You Buy

Do you love to shop and often dream of taking long walks through all of your favorite stores? If you answered yes, then we have the ultimate dream job for you. RetailMeNot has a new job offer that will pay you to shop, and the best part is that you can keep everything you buy.

Online coupon distributor RetailMeNot is looking for a Shopping Specialist — someone who would get paid $5,000 to spend over the course of a week at various retailers featured on RetailMeNot’s website and app.

The new Shopping Specialist will have to buy from a minimum of five online or in-store retailers — selected by RetailMeNot each day — and be responsible for testing out the site’s coupon codes and cashback offers at the different vendors, Thrillist reports.

The best part? You get to keep everything you buy.

That’s not all, though. Since you’ll probably be famished after all of that shopping, RetailMeNot will also take care of one meal per day, ABC News reports.

According to the online coupon distributor, the Shopping Specialist will also be asked to test out the site’s casual dining offers and spend up to $50 per day on dining at restaurants on the RetailMeNot app.

Overall, you’ll document and share your shopping experiences with the RetailMeNot team.

“We are introducing this new position to ensure that we are giving RetailMeNot users the best, smoothest shopping experience as they score a deal at their favorite retailers and restaurants,” RetailMeNot Senior Vice President of Marketing Scott Sundheim told GMA.

In terms of qualifications, RetailMeNot is looking for someone who is at the forefront of all the best deals and is savvy with coupons, cashback offers and promo codes. The site is also interested in someone who can navigate all types of store locations, such as malls, as well as online retailers. You will also need to be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and have at least two years shopping experience both in-store and online.

If this sounds like you, you can apply at shoppingspecialist@retailmenot.com. RetailMeNot is asking that candidates send in a short video (60-seconds max) so the team can get to know you. In the email, you’ll also need to send your shopping habits and how you scour the internet for the best deals, as well as add a 100-word description of why you’d be the best candidate.

Applications will be accepted until August 9, 2019.
