Blake Lively Revealed How She Makes Her Marriage Work, So Take Note

It’s safe to say that we all love Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, right? The couple recently celebrated five years of marriage and have had two daughters together, but their cute signs of affection for each other on social media and in interviews are why I adore them. Given actors’ marriage success rates, I’m praying that these two are in a safe little bubble, but Lively recently chatted about the work ethic she and Reynolds stick to, which just may be the secret to their seemingly happy marriage. Thank goodness!

In an interview with PEOPLE, Lively said of their work schedules, “My husband and I don’t work at the same time, so we all go together as a family. If we’re away as a family, it’s never more than for a day. We stay together.” How cute is that?

Both Lively and Reynolds have had busy, prosperous careers in the past few years, so it’s definitely inspiring to know that they make an effort to travel for work together. Lively also ensures that daughters James and Ines are always close by while she’s working. She even told the magazine that she filmed her latest movie, All I See Is You, only four months after one-year-old Ines was born.

“I’m not in an office…so she’s either with me or when I’m shooting a scene, she’s one room away,” Lively said. “If she really needs me, I can pop over there.”

She and Reynolds just become more and more lovable as time passes. Props to these two for always putting family first.
