The Black Hood’s Identity on ‘Riverdale’ Will Be Revealed Sooner Than You Think

Riverdale has taken quite a dark turn this season. With serial killer The Black Hood on the loose, Betty and her friends are being torn apart by the mystery of the killer’s identity. Who is The Black Hood? If you’re thinking we probably won’t know until the end of the season, think again. The cast just revealed it won’t be long at all, actually.

In an interview with Glamour, Madelaine Petsch, who plays Cheryl, eased our minds. “I didn’t guess it,” Madelaine said about The Black Hood’s identity. “When I read it, it shocked me, but you won’t have to wait much longer. A couple more episodes and the mystery will be revealed.” Omg. So what’s going to happen to Riverdale when the secret’s out? Will the town fall apart, or will this bring everyone together?

Though we don’t have any particular leads on who The Black Hood is, I’m sure it’s going to be a huge reveal. I mean, there are only so many people it could be, right?

As for what else is in store, Madelaine shared, “Cheryl has an unexpected love interest coming into the picture very soon.” Another big reveal? This is all too good.

Riverdale returns Nov. 29, hopefully with a few more leads as to who The Black Hood is. I can’t wait.
