Is Beyonce Collaborating With Taylor Swift On Her New Country Album? Fans Think So

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift may have a collaboration coming, and fans are TF freaking out.

On Feb. 13, rumors began to spread on Twitter of a potential collab between the two singers. Things then went into overdrive when the producer of the Queen Bey’s new song “Texas Hold ‘Em” Killah B said, “Let’s just say she’s on the approach of shocking the world,” when asked by TMZ about collabs on her upcoming country album “Renaissance: Act II.”

Swift is one of the biggest artists in the world. She’s coming off a phenomenal year with The Eras Tour and her film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour breaking multiple records. Of course, she’s not alone in that regard. Beyoncé took Renaissance on the road with the Renaissance World Tour and to theaters with Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.

Swift started her career in country music, writing hits like “Teardrops On My Guitar” and “Love Story” early on in her career. Beyoncé has made multi-genre music for decades, and of course she’s from Texas, so she’s country at heart. She now follows up Act I of Renaissance with a country record. Songs like “Daddy Lessons” from Lemonade give us a taste of what to expect from Act II. With these two powerhouses having experience in country music, it only makes sense that fans speculate a collab coming soon.

There’s no doubt a song with both artists on it would dominate the charts.

A TikToker thinks Swift will be on Act II, which is why she’s been emphasizing the number two lately, like on stage at the 2024 Grammys. Swift, who’s known for her notorious easter eggs, was seen early this year in Ivy Park sneakers, Beyoncé’s shoe collab with Adidas. Swift also nods to Beyoncé in her song “Slut!” singing, “And if I’m gonna be (Drunk) I might as well be drunk in love.”

With rumors of a feud flying last year amid both of their success, the singers showed up and supported each other at their movie premieres. Swift also mentioned how much she’s been inspired by Beyoncé throughout her career on Instagram, writing, “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms.”

Although a collab would be great, the Beyhive and Swifties shouldn’t get hopes too high just yet.

Entertainment Weekly claims to know “a source with knowledge of the situation” who says Swift isn’t on the second part of Beyoncé’s upcoming project. Sigh. However, Killah B took to Instagram to set the record straight, saying, “Now @tmz_tv I never mention Taylor yall did! 😂😂😂 but it definitely will be an amazing album!”

So, we may have to wait a little while longer for a collab from theses two icons. The good news is they both have albums coming out this year, so we don’t have to wait long for more new music.
