Beyoncé’s Next Music Video Will Pay Tribute to Tamir Rice, Mike Brown & Trayvon Martin

At this year’s Super Bowl, Beyoncé stole the half-time show with her performance of “Formation.” While her performance was fierce, it also pointed to a larger cause, speaking directly to the #BlackLivesMatter movement. The song itself is a commentary on political injustices.

Continuing to make a political statement, we’ve just learned that Beyoncé will continue honoring black lives in her new music video. According to The Beyhive, Beyoncé will honor the lives of Tamir Rice, Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin, whose deaths shed light on the current injustice that permeates society. The video is speculated to feature the mothers of Rice, Brown and Martin, holding photos of their children. Even though this is all a rumor, there’s a high chance that the rumor will prove to be true. There’s no release date for the music video, but we’re assuming that Bey will drop the vid at an unexpected moment (as Queen B usually does).
