Be Part of Glamour Magazine’s #GenerationGlamour

Our generation has pretty much everyone born before the ‘80s scratching their heads in confusion. They’re boggled by the fact that we sit in silence texting when it’s easier to pick up the phone and call (yeah, right), and they’re baffled by how our cell phones have become necessary appendages. But most importantly, they just don’t understand our obsession with social media. But lucky for us, Glamour does get it, and they’re ready to become the newest part of the craze.

With its Generation Glamour campaign, the magazine plans to show the world just how unique and influential the Milennial women are—because let’s face it, we’re all a force to be reckoned with.

But just how do you go about showing off for our generation? Well, it’s easy! All you have to do is take a self-portrait (solo shot!) of yourself and upload it to Instagram using the hashtag #generationglamour. Your picture will be uploaded instantly to generationglamour.com. Just remember to be yourself and have fun with your photo.

The pictures collected will be part of Glamour’s print and outdoor campaign starting up in September. In October, Generation Glamour will finish off on a high note with an event of monologues by celebrated female writers.

So collegiettes, whip out those phones and start snapping away. If you’re in need of inspiration, check out all the fun from Generation Glamour’s launch party. But just don’t forget, the sooner you Instagram, the quicker we get to see just how amazing our generation truly is!
