Ariana Grande Restarted a Performance When a Fan Screamed ‘I Wasn’t Recording’ & We Stan a Humble Queen

Ariana Grande’s latest album, Sweetener, just came out, and it is everything. To promote the new album, Ariana has been performing a series of special, intimate performances called the “Sweetener Sessions.” In a recent performance in Los Angeles this past weekend, the pop star was starting to sing a song when an unlucky fan didn’t hit record in time, and shouted out for her to restart the song. Much to the fan’s surprise, Ariana obliged.

According to Popsugar, Ariana began belting out the beginning notes of “Raindrops (An Angel Cried)” when a fan suddenly shouted, “Wait, start again, I wasn’t recording!”

You can hear the fan shouting their request in this video from another fan below.

Ariana kept singing a few notes, then stopped when she realized what had been shouted from the crowd.

“Did you say ‘start again, I wasn’t recording’?” the pop star asked.

Laughing, she repeated the request to the audience, before confirming “I listen!”

Asking the fan if they were “ready now,” Ariana did exactly what she was asked and started the song from the beginning, without missing a beat, Buzzfeed reports.

She took the whole thing in stride, proving that she is literally the best and truly loves her Arianators.

Ariana is literally a ponytailed angel, and we stan a gracious, fan-friendly queen.
