Stop What You’re Doing, Ariana Grande & Mariah Carey Are Collabing On A ‘Yes, And?’ Remix

Updated Published

Yes, there will be a remix to Ariana Grande’s new single “Yes, And?” and it’ll be with the legendary Mariah Carey. On Feb. 14, the two singers changed their profile pictures to match on social media, making fans think something was coming. Well, they were right.

Shortly after, Grande took to Instagram to announce the remix, writing, “Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this Friday!”

The two have collaborated before Carey’s “Oh Santa!” with Jennifer Hudson. This will be their first non-holiday track together. Carey is one of Grande’s idols, with OG fans probably remembering her “Emotions” cover on YouTube 11 years ago. It’s a full-circle moment to see these two powerhouse vocalists unite on a track.

Of course, the remix announcement broke the internet, with “Ariana and Mariah” trending on X/ Twitter. Many fans are excited that a “Yes, And?” remix is coming and features the one and only Mariah Carey.

Even Grande’s over the moon that she’s to collaborate on her hit single with an icon like Carey. “There truly are no words that suffice. thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey,” Grande wrote in her Instagram post announcing the collaboration. “It means more to me than i could ever possibly articulate and i cannot wait for everyone to hear this ! i love you eternally!”

Grande is already having a Grande year. Her new album will be released in less than a month, and part one of the “Wicked” movie musical, where Grande plays Glinda, comes out on Thanksgiving Day. She also recently filmed videos for Spotify’s Billions Club The Series, where she discusses her 14 songs with a billion streams over her decade-long career.

Grande’s much-anticipated seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine, comes out Mar. 8. There will be 13 songs on the album and seven album covers to choose from. In a video she posted to Instagram on Feb. 1, Grande shared that “this is kind of a concept album,” explaining that “it’s all different like heightened pieces of the same story.”

Grande revealed that there will be no more singles for Eternal Sunshine released before the album comes out. So, this may be the last new song we get until the album drops.

With Carey and Grande’s vocals combined, there’s no doubt this song will be on repeat over the next few weeks.
