British singing sensation Adele, who exploded onto the U.S. music scene in the last year, has canceled her 10-city, sold-out U.S. tour due to a vocal cord hemorrhage. The tour was to kick off this Friday in Atlantic City.
Â
The full list of cancelled tours includes: Durham, Nashville, Asheville, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and three shows in Texas.
 Â
The recurring health issue has forced the singer to cancel tour dates earlier this year. Doctors have advised an extended rest period in order for Adele to fully recover.
Â
In a blog post on the singer’s website, she apologizes profusely to her fans, saying she “truly devastated and annoyed” by the tour cancellation. She wrote that she will begin vocal rehab as soon as possible to build her voice back up.Â
