While watching the TeenNick channel last night, I saw a promotion for what looks to be the most exciting thing to happen on TV since… well, probably since TV itself was invented.

What is this amazing news?  This month, TeenNick will begin showing a new block of programming starting at midnight called The 90’s are All That!, named after the hit 90’s sketch show All That!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the channel decided to bring back 90’s Nick programming after seeing interest on social media sites.  The New York Times reports that a group of Nickelodeon interns brought this interest to light in a presentation last summer, after discovering that the old shows had more than 9 million Facebook fans.

During the 90’s, Keith Dawkins, senior VP and general manager of TeenNick, told Entertainment Weekly, “we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10, and 11.  It was groundbreaking and, for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal time in their lives.  Those kids who are now 22, 23, and 24 want to bring that back.”

Mashable has put together the reported lineup, which will include such favorites as Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, The Amanda Show, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Rocko’s Modern Life.

I don’t know about you, but the nostalgia is already setting in for me.  Back in the day, Thursday night was Rugrats night in my family, and Chuckie, Tommy, Tommy’s screwdriver and all the rest still hold a special place in my heart.

No one knows better than us collegiettes™ just how great this news is—we’re right in the target age group of 18-34-year-olds.  What Nick shows are you excited to see back on the airwaves?  Let us know in the comments!
