On occasion, the typical 21+ collegiette likes to sit down to responsibly enjoy a cool adult beverage. And, sometimes, she’s in the mood for something a little fancier than an ordinary glass of wine and just wants to indulge in the fruitiest, girliest cocktail available. But, which cocktail best fits which occasion? Here are nine of the most blatantly feminine drinks and how to best enjoy them.

1. Pink Passion: The Pink Drink

Ingredients:

2 oz. peach schnapps
2 oz. Tequila Rose
2 splash of cranberry juice
1 splash of lemon-lime soda
Garnish: lemon twist

Preparation:

Pour all ingredients except soda into a shaker, shake, and pour into a glass. Top with lemon-lime soda and garnish with a lemon twist.

2. Peach Crush: The Flirty Drink

Ingredients:

2 oz. Van Gogh Cool Peach Vodka
1 oz. triple sec
Splash of orange juice
Splash of soda water
Garnish: mint leaves

Preparation:

Pour all ingredients into a glass, stir, and garnish with mint leaves.

3. Pink Raspberry Cosmo: The Girls’ Night Drink

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen raspberries
1 & ½ cups water
2 ounces Raspberry juice
2 ounces Raspberry Liqueur
4 oz good quality vodka ( Ketel One, Grey Goose)
Juice from ½ lime
1 ounce simple syrup (Bring equal parts sugar and water to boil in a saucepan until the sugar is dissolved. Cool).
Pink sugar crystals
Raspberries for garnish

Preparation:

Combine 2 cups of frozen raspberries and 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a simmer, mashing the berries against the sides of the pan to release their juices. Strain into a cup or bowl scraping the seeds with a spatula along the bottom of the strainer to extract all the juice.
Fill two standard size martini glasses with ice and water to chill.
In a shaker combine the Raspberry Juice, raspberry liqueur, vodka, and lime juice over ice and shake a few times until ice cold.
Pour out the ice water from the martini glasses and dip the rims of the glasses in simple syrup then into pink sugar crystals. Divide the mixture between the two glasses and garnish with raspberries.

4. Sweet Seacrest Blue: The Tiffany-Blue Drink

Ingredients:

3 oz. Alizé Bleu
2 oz. club soda
Garnish: lemon wedge

Preparation:

Pour all ingredients into a glass filled with ice, stir, and garnish with a lemon wedge.

5. Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri: The Summer Drink

Ingredients:

1 oz. rum
1 oz. frozen limeade
4 strawberries

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a martini glass.

6. Sex on the Beach: The Vacation Drink

Ingredients:

1 oz. vodka
½ oz. Chambord
½ oz. peach schnapps
2 oz. orange juice
2 oz. cranberry juice

Preparation:

Pour all ingredients into a highball glass. Serve on the rocks.

7. Classic Mimosa: The Ladies’ Brunch Drink

Ingredients:

4 oz. champagne
2 dashes Grand Marnier
2 oz. orange Juice

Preparation:

Combine orange juice and Grand Marnier in a champagne flute. Top with champagne.

8. Mudslide: The Breakup Drink

Ingredients:

½ oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
½ oz. Cacao Cream
½ oz. Kahlúa
½ oz. Frangelico
2 dashes chocolate syrup
3 heaping spoonfuls vanilla ice cream

Preparation:

Combine ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with additional chocolate syrup.

9. Sangria: The Party Drink

Ingredients:

1 bottle red wine
1 lemon (sliced)
1 orange (sliced)
1 lime (sliced)
2 Tbsp. sugar
Splash of orange juice or lemonade
2 shots gin or triple sec
1 C. raspberries or strawberries
1 small can diced pineapples (with juice)
4 C. ginger ale

Preparation:

Combine wine, pineapple, sugar, orange juice, and gin in a pitcher. Squeeze citrus juices into wine mixture, then add juiced wedges. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale, berries, and ice just before serving.
