Imitation is the highest form of flattery, and it becomes 100 percent cuter when a little kid is involved. Seven-year-old Xia Vigor, a British and Filipina actress, has won over everyone’s hearts after impersonating Taylor Swift in a musical performance on a Philippine TV show—and it’s the most adorable thing ever.
According to Refinery29, Vigor appeared on Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, a singing competition where kids copy their musical inspirations when performing. When Vigor hit the stage singing “You Belong With Me,” it was clear that a new favorite of the contest had been crowned.
Not only is that outfit completely on point with Swift’s old country style, but Vigor also has some of her performance tricks down to a T, like the classic ripping off one outfit to reveal a sparkly one (as we all do, right?). Based on the audience’s response, Vigor couldn’t have been any closer to giving a true Taylor Swift performance. It even looks like Vigor’s competition loved her act, bopping their heads as Vigor rocked out.
This isn’t Vigor’s first try at imitating famous singers—The Huffington Post reports that she won a “Mini Me” competition at the age of five after performing as Selena Gomez. Um, seriously?!
All that’s left to finalize Vigor’s superstar status is a visit or shout-out from T. Swift herself, which we’re sure will happen sometime soon.
