5 Ways to Get Through Finals

It might be the worst time of the year, but there are ways to lessen the pain of spending too many hours under the fluorescent light bulbs of the Sci-Li. Here’s five of them:
1. Work Out — you might be to busy to think about hitting the gym, but working out during times of high stress with increase your productivity, make you sleep better and burn the calories of the last pack of Gummi Bears you binged on while writing that 10 page paper.
2. Change venues — The Sci Li tends to become a second home during finals, but going to other libraries, coffee shops and study lounges can make the working experience all the more pleasant. So stop being so sedentary and move around!
3. Schedule yourself — This isn’t high school anymore and procrastinating until the very last minute will only give you an aneurysm before the year ends. Think of ways to manage your time, prioritize and stick to your schedule. This way you’ll ace your finals and get some rest in the meantime.
4. Take a break — Go to a party, get some rest, watch TV, shop; whatever gets you through your day. Being so studious is exhausting, and without taking a break you will lose your steam before you know it.
5. Don’t overdose on caffeine — The uncontrollable jitters and caffeine-induced ADD will prove detrimental to your studying. So take one or two coffees a day. Remember, one red bull equals to approximately 12 cups of coffee, so perhaps you should stay way from it.

GOOD LUCK!
