We are now two episodes away from the season finale of You, and this week saw some major moves forward. It’s three months later and Joe and Beck have (supposedly) moved on from each other. Joe is dating the wonderful Karen, and Beck is finding lots of professional success. But, because this is You, the drama will only stay away for so long. And boy, does it get juicy…
Here are 43 thoughts I had while watching last night’s episode.
1. Karen loves to organize bookshelves. I connect with this on a spiritual level.
2. Of course Joe has multiple typewriters.
3. KING OF QUEENS WAS A GREAT SHOW AND A TRULY UNDERRATED COMEDY
4. If I agree with Joe on one thing, it’s that physical books are superior to e-books.
5. Beck has a book deal! Good for her
6. Is Beck down to one friend? Where is Anneka? Did I miss something?
7. Writer’s colony…the things that come out of Blythe’s mouth
8. Blythe is probably a good friend if you want to be productive, but she has no right to delete Beck’s social handles (and take away her internet). That’s just cruel and unusual punishment…
9. “You can be the most analog princess in all the land.” Again, Blythe has the best one-liners.
10. I literally have no idea what Blythe is doing with this cleansing of sorts?
11. Ok…if Blythe just deleted the social apps from Beck’s phone, it wouldn’t have deleted all of her profiles so where did her social footprint go
12. This montage of Beck procrastinating is so relatable
13. “Inspiration calls, goodbye love.” Gotta love Blythe
14. Joe is in no place to lecture Ethan on moving too fast in a relationship. Joe is the king of moving too fast.
15. More Paco…cute. But I’m worried about how much time he spends with Joe.
16. And, now I’m worried about Paco’s mom
17. I have a feeling Karen won’t make it to the end of the episode and that troubles me greatly
18. Beck is totally making the best of this run in with her ex.
19. Ok Karen calm down, podcasts can be cool
20. Of course, Joe’s downfall would be getting caught by the read receipts.
21. I would for nothing more than Dr. Nicky to call Joe and Beck out on their BS
22. Does Beck really shower wearing all of her jewelry?
23. Why do these people leave their phone sounds on? There is nothing more annoying than listening to the little clicks when someone sends a really long text.
24. Joe is really struggling to keep his stories straight. Is he finally going to get caught?
25. Does Dr. Nicky use the same metaphors with all of his patients?
26. Blythe is totally trying to get Joe and Beck back together.
27. She of all people should see that Joe is bad for Beck’s productivity.
28. OH MY GOD BECK AND JOE ARE HOOKING UP IN PUBLIC
29. And now, they’re hooking up a bunch of other times…
30. For the record, I do not support this.
31. Uh oh, what’s wrong with Paco’s mom?
32. OH MY GOD THEY ARE PUTTING HIS MOM IN THE BOOK DUNGEON TO DETOX

34. “It’s over.” “No, it’s just a commercial.” Joe breaking up with Karen is pure gold.
35. I can’t believe Joe is running through the streets to get back to Beck.
36. I can’t believe he broke her window to prove he loved her.
37. Uh oh, Karen and Beck are having a run in.
38. Wow, Karen is serving some hard truths right now.
39. Karen might be the best character on this show.
40. Please tell me that Karen and Beck are going to team up to take Joe down.
41. Oh my, there are only two episodes left
