21 Understandably Insane Thoughts I Had While Watching Season 2 of ‘Stranger Things’

After more than a year, Netflix has brought Stranger Things back for a second season! Ever since the trailer dropped this summer, I’ve been pretty much counting down the days until I could find out what happened to Eleven and the gang. Now that it’s back, I thought I’d share some of my thoughts and ~musings~ on what the sleepy little town of Hawkins, Indiana is up to. Major spoilers lie ahead—continue at your own risk!

1. Okay, first thought: Will Barb finally get the justice she deserves?

2. How is this show so aesthetically gorgeous?

3. Why are Steve and Nancy still together?

4. I don’t care if it’s the ’80s—mullets and all-jean outfits are never acceptable.

5. Eleven looks good with a shag, though!

6. Is it bad that I want to raid every character’s closet?

7. What the heck is in Dustin’s trash?

8. Oh no, ew. What even is that thing? A polly what, now?

9. Wow, that new guy is garbage. Can we get the Demogorgon to eat him, too?

10. Is it me, or is Eleven actually a brat?

11. Not even gonna comment on the end of episode four.

12. Nope.

13. Crazy theory: Is Eleven actually the Demogorgon?

14. Another theory: What if…Chief Hopper is Eleven’s dad? I know, I know—it’s a stretch. But wouldn’t that be adorable?

15. I’d honestly just be happy if Joyce and Hopper got together. You know it’d be a perfect match.

16. Because no offense, but her current beau is boooring. Nice, but dull as a plastic knife.

17. Is Will even still Will? I have a bad feeling about this.

18. Thank God Eleven got to meet her mom. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

19. Jonathan and Nancy are just so amazing. Takin’ on the C.I.A. all by themselves and all that jazz.

20. Also, Joyce Byers is the actual definition of a BAMF. I think we all need to strive to be a little more like Joyce.

21. Well, I have a couple more episodes to go, but so far, it’s been a heck of a wild, awesome ride.
