Everything You Need To Know To Get Ready For The 2023 Grammys

2022 has been a great year for music and other media, and the amazing lineup of artists and creators for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards reflects that! Whether you’ve been rooting for the population of your Spotify Wrapped since nominations were released, or this is your first look at which artists have awards up for grabs, the Grammys are bound to be the hottest event of 2023 thus far.

Where to stream the 2023 Grammys

The Grammy’s will be available to stream on cable on CBS Television Network, and can be watched live or on demand on Paramount+ on February 5, 2023 starting at 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST. The show usually runs for three and a half hours, although this does not include time taken up by lengthy acceptance speeches. The red carpet will also be available to watch before the awards on live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, so you’ll definitely be entertained for the night.

Who’s nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards?

All awards and nominations are available for public viewing online, and many of them have viewers stunned and excited at the competition between some of the best artists and music ever. Some awards to highlight are Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Contenders for Song of the Year are “abcdefu,” “About Damn Time,” “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film),” “As It Was,” “Bad Habit,” “BREAK MY SOUL,” “Easy On Me,” “GOD DID,” “The Heart Part 5,” and “Just Like That.”

The nominees for Album of the Year are Voyage by ABBA, 30 by Adele, Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny, RENAISSANCE by Beyoncé, Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe) by Mary J. Blige, In These Silent Days by Brandi Carlile, Music Of The Spheres by Coldplay, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar, Special by Lizzo, and Harry’s House by Harry Styles.

Record of the Year is another highly competitive category, and its contenders consist of “Don’t Shut Me Down” by ABBA, “Easy On Me” by Adele, “BREAK MY SOUL” by Beyoncé, “Good Morning Gorgeous” by Mary J. Blige, “You And Me On the Rock” by Brandi Carlile ft. Lucius, “Woman” by Doja Cat, “Bad Habit” by Steve Lacy, “The Heart Part 5” by Kendrick Lamar, “About Damn Time” by Lizzo, and “As It Was” by Harry Styles. These nominations cover a wide range of music genres and styles, so it’s anyone’s guess who will take home the prize.

Trevor Noah will be returning to host the show.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, and this will be his third time hosting. Noah most recently hosted the first post-pandemic Grammy Awards back in 2021. When asked by Billboard why he keeps accepting invitations to host, Noah responded, “One of my favorite things about the Grammys as a whole is it is one of the few places where you get to experience artists in their rawest element, which is performing their music live… You develop a deep appreciation for what these people are doing beyond just the music that they make.”

Who’s performing and presenting at the Grammys this year?

The list of presenters at this year’s awards has not been released yet, but the Recording Academy is expected to announce them soon. Thankfully, though, we finally know who will be taking the stage.

Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile, Harry Styles, Kim Petras, Lizzo, Luke Combs, Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, and Steve Lacy will all be performing on the big night, according to the Grammys’ official website.

When we do know more about this year’s presenters lineup and what to expect, this piece will be updated with more info. Until then, sit tight — and maybe start making your own 2023 Grammys predictions.
