In yet another newsworthy update from Goop on how we, too, can look and feel like Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, readers got an itemized list of the must-have products they need to have fun in the bedroom.
The list includes 18 BDSM-esque items that vary in price—from the equivalent of the cost of a pair of Target yoga pants to that of a moderately priced used car. Paltrow explains, “Sex toys have long since graduated from the floppy rubber things you hide in your bedside table to beautiful works of interactive art.”
Some of her favorite works of art include: a $60 book by Dan Hanson titled “The Big Butt Book 3D” (that may or may not feature Kim K on the cover); the $219 Crave Duet 8GB Lux, which doubles as a vibrator and a thumb drive (no pun intended); and, of course, the absolute essential—a $15,000 24-karat gold dildo (it’s casual).
When you’re not using everything on the list, you’ll want to work on your kegel exercises because, as Paltrow points out, her picks are pretty important when it comes to sex. In Goop’s May issue (which is the sex issue if you hadn’t already guessed), Paltrow shares her favorite app for pelvic floor training. All you have to do—after making the $200 purchase, that is—is insert the small pod-like device like you would a tampon, and turn on your phone’s Bluetooth capability.
