Like most of you I’m guessing, I laughed out loud yesterday when I read Emma Allen’s hilarious account of swine flu. Little did I know that today I would wind up sick! Now I don’t think I have swine flu, but I do think I have a flu. From what I understand from Emma’s article and other sources, when you have swine flu, you feel totally AWFUL, and I only feel kind of awful. But still, I feel kind of awful, which is not fun!
So today I stayed in and had to cancel on all my various commitments – classes, meetings, and a coffee date to name a few – and instead spent most of the day sleeping and drinking a lot of water. I’m hoping I start to feel better ASAP since I’m supposed to go away this weekend!
To anyone else feeling under the weather (seems like a lot of people), feel better soon!!!
