This past Saturday (December 5), I FINALLY turned 21! This birthday had been much-awaited since almost all of my friends were already 21 (blame the December birthday), so I had not been able to go to bars with them, etc. and didn’t feel like a true senior! Needless to say I was very excited for it to finally be my birthday :)
On Friday night, I had friends over our room, and then at midnight we went out to bars in Harvard Square!
My roommate Becca bought me my first drink- a chocolate raspberry martini!
Here I am at Daedelus, a popular bar in Harvard Square, with some of my guy friends who came out with me for my birthday!
Then on Sunday night, I went out to dinner with my parents (I live nearby in Newton), then went back to my house for cake and presents, then went to the RMV with my mom the next day to get my new license!

So all in all it was an amazing birthday, which still isn’t over since I still have to celebrate with Windsor (who was busy with Grease this weekend), and my best friend from home, Jackie, when she comes home for winter break!
I am excited to now be 21+!
