It is finally 70 and sunny in Cambridge and I could not be more excited! I just got back from running outside along the Charles River and it seems like EVERYONE in Boston is outside today! It was actually pretty hard to run since I’ve gotten used to running in cool, damp weather recently, and this was the first day where it was HOT! But I am definitely not complaining :)
The past few days have been a lot of fun for a bunch of reasons:
-I’m a campus tour guide at Harvard, and I got to give tours on Thursday and Friday in the gorgeous weather! So much more enjoyable for both me and the tourists when it’s nice out.
-On Thursday I went out to dinner with two of the girls in my Delta Gamma “family”- in DG, we each get a little sister in the pledge class below us, and then the next year our little sisters get their own little sisters (called our grand-littles), and then the grand-littles get their own littles, etc. etc. Here I am (on the left) with my grand-little (Julia) on the right, and my great-grand-little (Dasha) in the middle out to dinner at Border Cafe! My little sister Alex couldn’t make it to dinner this time.
-Last night I saw my brother, who is a freshman at Harvard, perform in Harvard’s Freshman Musical! Since I’m from the Boston area (Newton), my parents were able to come too!
Now I’m going to go run some errands (in flip-flops – yay!), eat dinner, then figure out my plans for tonight! Hope everyone else is enjoying some warm weather too!
