This morning, my mom sent me a link to this article about a mom who created a website to try to set up her single 31-year-old son! For the past five years she has been setting her son up on countless dates, with everyone from the saleswoman at the store she used to upholster her sofa, to her dental hygenist’s friend’s daughter. None of these set-ups were successful, so now she’s turning to the web.
She started a website where moms can set up their single children, and so far she’s had 20 parents and their adult kids sign up. To see it, click the “Date My Single Kid” link on this site.
What do you think of this? Would you let your mom put you on a site like this? Do you trust your mom to set you up in general?
Given that my mom sent this to me, I hope she’s not getting any ideas! At only 21 I don’t think I quite need to be on that site yet…!
