Saying Bye to my HC Internship!

This past summer I experienced my usual seasonal staples: passion-fruit lemonades from Starbucks, constructing newspaper fans, and my on-going hatred for the MBTA.

This summer, however, consisted of something new: my internship at Her Campus Magazine. This June I was fortunate enough to land a graphic design position, through which I got to design campus logos, flyers, advertisements and awards among others. I had an awesome time multi-tasking with Annie on several projects while also sharing a love for the great fonts of the world.

While I went into my internship expecting to grow as a designer, I didn’t expect to learn so much about entrepreneurship. It was very inspiring to see how a business is run first hand by girls my own age. All in all, I had a great time interning with Annie, Stephanie and Windsor this summer and I am walking away with lots of helpful knowledge (as well as an addiction to Boloco’s Summer Burrito).

Thanks for everything, HC!

XO,
Mallory
