If you tried to visit HC between 6:30pm last night and 10:30am this morning, you were probably greeted with a frightening “This account has been suspended” message- yikes!!
So what happened? Our traffic was so high that the server wasn’t able to handle it, so the site went down! AAHH! “Too much traffic” is usually a good problem to have, except when it crashes the site… yikes.
Luckily we were able to get the site back up and running, and in the meantime we’re migrating to a dedicated server that will be able to handle all the traffic so that this doesn’t happen again. It’s possible the site will still experience some problems over the next day or two as we migrate everything to the new server, so please bear with us, and we promise everything will be back to normal (and faster than ever!) within a day or two.
