New health website for women: ChickRx.com

I want to let you know about an awesome new website that just launched today: ChickRx.com

ChickRx was founded by my friend Stacey Borden, who just graduated from Harvard Business School!  Stacey also went to Harvard as an undergrad, and was in my sorority, Delta Gamma, but we didn’t meet until this year because she graduated before I got to Harvard.  I had been hearing about Stacey for months because of all the cool, women-oriented entrepreneurial stuff she is involved in, and I finally met her at lunch with Arianna Huffington at Harvard Business School this spring.

ChickRx is a witty health website for 20-something women that serves as both a trusted source of expert information and a tongue-in-cheek form of daily entertainment. ChickRx plans to roll out interactive tools and community features after its launch.

Like we did with HC, ChickRx identified a hole in the market- there was no online health resource for 20-something women that felt personable and relatable- so Stacey and her co-founder Meghan Muntean did something about it!

They describe ChickRx as a DailyCandy-meets-WebMD type of resource addressing health issues that are increasingly discussed among young adult women. The site features expert Q&A, up-to-date news, product picks and celebrity tidbits across the following categories: sex & gynecology, fitness & nutrition, emotional health & relationships, dermatology, and general health.

I’m sure all of you have at least one health question you’re dying to know the answer to but don’t know where to go… I bet it’s on ChickRx!  So head over to ChickRx now to support Stacey and check out the site, and leave comments about what you think of it!  I’ll be sure to pass them onto her!

Stephanie is co-founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus Media, which she co-founded in 2009 as an undergrad at Harvard.
