After Windsor and Annie left NYC, I stayed for more meetings and get-togethers Wednesday afternoon and night. First I met with Tammy Tibbetts (founder of She’s the First and also works at Seventeen) and her intern (who also happens to be our Hofstra University Campus Correspondent!) Kaitlin at the Hearst Tower to talk about continuing our partnership with Seventeen on seventeen.com and specifically within Seventeen’s Freshman 15 blog.
We’re going to be syndicating some more articles on seventeen.com and contributing a bunch of really fun, college-y features to their site, as well as blogging on their Freshman 15 blog. I’m really excited about this because Seventeen’s website and readership are amazing, and this is another opportunity for our writers to get their work published on seventeen.com! I’m so excited to work with Tammy and Kaitlin on this.
Next I headed to Union Square to get dinner at Chat ‘n’ Chew with two fellow entrepreneurs- Jordan Goldman, the founder of Unigo, and Josh Weinstein, the founder of CollegeOnly. I connected with both of them this summer (and they also happened to know each other) and we’ve been entrepreneur friends ever since!
Here are Jordan, me, and Josh at dinner.
After dinner, it was my time for dessert! I met up with my friend Ed Weng, co-founder of Mittenberry (mittens for texting), for cheesecake at Junior’s in Times Square. We split a slice of strawberry cheesecake (it was huge!). Yum!!
