NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE Job Description: Work to create and sell innovative partnership packages for current and future clients of Her Campus. Raise sponsorship support through advertising sales. Promote Her Campus as the #1 means of marketing directly to college women in the United States.
- Negotiate, pitch and sell sponsorship packages to key decision makers.
- Conduct market research and analyze companies for possible target markets.
- Gain a thorough understanding of current economic issues, business trends, and the companies currently active within the college marketing space.
Requirements & Skills:
- Must be able to work full time from our offices in Cambridge, MA.
- Must be fun, spontaneous, and flexible.
- Prior sales experience is necessary and must be professional, persistent and be able to comfortably negotiate at the highest corporate level.
- Display superior communications skills and flexibility and confidence in challenging situations.
- Excellent market research skills and analytical knowledge of global business and economic trends.
- Must be highly motivated, disciplined, organized, and show leadership skills.
- Previous marketing or public relations experience with a proven track record is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years corporate working experience.
- College Degree is required.
Compensation Package:
- Initial compensation package to be based on commission only.
