On Thursday night, Her Campus Harvard hosted a Purple Lab Shopping party to celebrate the premiere of Purple Lab cosmetics on the Home Shopping Network. It was the first time I’ve ever watched the Home Shopping Network actually and I have to say that I was quite surprised by how entertaining it was! HSN isn’t huge among college students (if you know someone in college who watches HSN please have them e-mail me – I’m so curious!) but it was pretty fun to watch. The show before Purple Lab featured some really… ummmm… interesting? jewelry. I was left wondering who exactly it is that would buy a sterling silver jade ring with ruby and CZ accents…
Anyways – once Karen (the woman who created Purple Lab) came on, we were all glued to the TV. What was really fun was that Karen had sent us samples of the makeup to try on while we watched. We all agreed that our favorite product was the Huge Lips Skinny Hips lip gloss that Cara reviewed earlier this week! It smells SO good and really plumps your lips.
