You might remember us posting a little over a week ago about the fact that we had made it to Round 2 of MassChallenge. Well today, we found out some INCREDIBLY exciting news – we are now a FINALIST in MassChallenge! MassChallenge is this amazing business plan competition run by the state of MA to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. Over 700 teams entered this year, and it is now down to 125 finalists. As finalists we get gorgeous office space down by the seaport in Boston and are part of MassChallenge’s accelerator program, in which we receive intensive support and mentorship for the next three months. Then in October, the winners (who receive grants) are announced!
At this point we could not be more pumped to begin the accelerator program and move into the beautiful office space. Plus, we’ll be joining our friends from Abroad101 there, who won MassChallenge last year. Other friends of ours who are also Finalists include EverTrue, Snapette, KangoGift, Aid Aide, and EqualApp. Here is the full list of finalists.
Today we got to attend the ceremony announcing the finalists, and we got to pitch HC to the entire crowd there, including Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who we also got to meet afterwards! Such an amazing opportunity!
