Last Friday, while Windsor and Annie stayed in Boston to present at the TECH Cocktail events, I went to NYC to film a segment for ABC News Now TV show “Moms Get Real”, hosted by Juju Chang, who is also an anchor on “Good Morning America”. The segment was about how moms can help their kids pack for college- what to pack, and what not to pack- so I advised on this on behalf of Her Campus!
The whole experience was totally crazy- I got to show up to the stage entrance, get my hair and makeup done, then hang out in the green room with Juju Chang and the other guests on the show until it was time to film our segment. The studio was right in Times Square, and Moms Get Real shares a set with Good Morning America!
Since this was the first TV piece I’ve ever filmed, I was super nervous, and I was there by myself without Windsor and Annie! Luckily I think it turned out well, but I was so nervous for it!
