As you probably know, one of our central missions at HC is in providing aspiring college journalists with a national platform for their writing and a career launching point. As I’m sure many of you have experienced, many colleges don’t have any writing outlets beyond the campus newspaper, and it can be difficult for students to break into the magazine journalism world with only a news background. There are also few national platforms that college students are able to write for in order to get their name out there and get the kind of clips they’ll need to apply for magazine jobs and internships. So at HC we aim to change that and put a spotlight on the nation’s best student journalists!
