HC is hiring Graphic Designers and Coding Geniuses!

Her Campus is looking to bring on a Design Intern and a Web/User Experience Intern for this semester to work with us in our Harvard Square (Cambridge, MA) office!  If you’re interested, or if you know others who may be interested, read on and/or forward the blurbs below along!

Spring Design Intern

Her Campus is an online magazine for college women that individualizes its content college-by-college by establishing My Campus branches at schools across the country. With national content on Style, Beauty, Health, Love, Life, and Career, supplemented by campus-specific content produced by teams of students at 110+ colleges across the country, Her Campus serves as a hub for everything college women need to know about today.

Her Campus is recruiting talented, creative, professional, and self-motivated individuals for a Spring 2011 Design Internship. Candidates must be willing to work independently on demanding projects and respond well to immediate feedback. Mastery over Photoshop is required, and experience with illustration, typography, and layout is ideal. Interns must own or otherwise have full access to Photoshop.

Design Interns will work directly with Annie Wang, the Co-founder, CTO, and Creative Director of Her Campus. Interns will assist in designing creative for use on the site as branding or promotional materials, merchandise for sale in the Her Campus Shop, and flyers and other marketing materials for use on both a national and branch-specific level. Interns may occasionally be asked to assist in completing administrative tasks.

This internship is unpaid but can be taken for school credit if desired. Interns must be able to work on-location at the Her Campus office in Cambridge, MA.

Spring Web/User Experience Intern

Her Campus is recruiting talented, professional, self-motivated, efficient, and detail-oriented individuals for a Spring 2011 Web/UX Internship. Candidates must be willing to work independently on demanding projects and respond well to immediate feedback. Expertise in HTML, CSS, and PHP is required, and experience with Drupal is ideal. An eye for design is a must.

Web Interns will work directly with Annie Wang, the Co-founder, CTO, and Creative Director of Her Campus. Interns will assist in leading exciting new digital media initiatives for Her Campus, including the development of a mobile-optimized version of HerCampus.com, theming the existing Her Campus site, and coding custom functionalities and modules to improve user experience on the website. In addition, interns will help upload content to the website as needed, and some related administrative tasks may be included.

This internship is unpaid but can be taken for school credit if desired. Interns must be able to work on-location at the Her Campus office in Cambridge, MA.
