First Ever Her Campus National Intercollegiette Conference This Saturday in NYC!

Hello collegiettes!

I am SO excited to announce that this Saturday (yep! In 2 days!), Her Campus is hosting its first ever National Intercollegiette Conference!

We presented the idea to Intel several months ago, and they loved it and decided to help us make it happen. My team and I have been working pretty much non-stop ever since then talking to potential speakers, organizing panels, finding space, securing breakfast and lunch, and contacting all of Her Campus’s favorite partners to secure amazing swag for the goody bags and door prizes. The conference is going to be totally epic (if I do say so myself!). 

The conference is going to kick off with registration at 7:30 am followed by a delicious continental breakfast. Following a welcome address, Anna Post of the Emily Post Institute will be delivering our morning keynote. After the keynote we have a bevy of exciting panels to choose from, ranging from “Does the Devil Actually Wear Prada? Life in an entry level editorial position,” to “From Hobby to Business – How to Make Your Blog a Powerhouse,” to “Grad School. Yay or Nay?” to “How to Start Your Own Business: Advice From Top Female Enterpreneurs.” The panelists that we have coming are all incredible and I can’t wait to hear what they have to share!

Lunch will be brought in by Chipotle (YUM!) and Ann Shoket, the Editor-in-Chief of Seventeen Magazine will be delivering our lunchtime keynote!!

In the afternoon, Stephanie, Annie, and the rest of the members of the Her Campus Executive Team and I will be giving workshops!

On top of all of this, the day will end with a networking reception followed by an after party at the Juicy Couture store on 5th Avenue only for Conference attendees!

As if all of that weren’t enought already, we have some amazingly epic goody bags for our conference attendees inluding fun surprises from the sponsors listed above!
