2010 Forté Forum

The Forté Foundation, an awesome resource for those of you interested in pursuing an M.B.A in business, is about to begin a touring event series called Forté Forum. The object of the series is to give college women and grads information about the career opportunities an M.B.A can provide. Additionally, at the Forum you’ll have the opportunity to network with representatives from top M.BA programs and other women debating Grad School options.

Last year a Forté event took place near my college, Washington U in St. Louis. The Forum was really popular with undergrad women because of its welcoming environment, networking opportunities and detailed information. In addition to gaining a much broader understanding of where a degree in business can lead, many of the girls left the event with personal contacts from the best Business Schools in the country.

Whether Business School has been in your sights since freshman year or you just want to explore new options, the Forté Forum is a great resource for information and connections.  The event opens with a school fair and then continues with an MBA Alumnae Panel and an Admissions Panel- and registration is only 10 bucks!

For information on locations and registration go to: www.fortefoundation.org/forum

Also check out the Forté PRE-MBA blog to get advice from women going through the business school application process, current B-School students and recent alums.
