We know what we want for Christmas this year: every glamorous and glittery item in Mariah Carey’s new line for MAC. The 23-piece collection will include MAC’s best-selling Lipstick (with Mariah’s signature butterflies branded on the bullets), as well as glosses, pencils, powders, foundation, shimmery brushes and more. Some of the items are named after Mariah’s hit songs, including “Touch My Body” (a body powder) and “All I Want” (a lipstick). To top off the good news, each product comes in a blingy gold and silver packaging that will blind you make you really, really happy.
“I was really excited for this project because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” Mariah told InStyle. “I love MAC, I always have, and this is all stuff I will be wearing myself both onstage and everyday. The team really let me express myself creatively through this, and it was almost like writing a song. As a songwriter, all of the little details you put in make the end result what it is, and this was a very similar creative process.” Hopefully this means we can expect more of Mariah the beauty guru in the future, but for now, we can’t wait to get our hands on these glittery glam tools!
The line will be available online December 8 and in stores December 15. We’ll be waiting by our laptops.
