As a self described makeup junkie, lover and hoarder, I’m not sure whether to be elated or terrified with all of the new product launches that brands have been teasing for 2017. As I hear my bank account crying and begging me not to spend any more money, I can’t help but be excited for all of the new makeup (and trends) that are starting to ~formulate~ for the upcoming year.
One brand that is already planning big things for 2017? Kat Von D. We’re not even two weeks into the new year, and Kat has revealed so many new products that I’m shook. One product that already has fans of the brand saving up their pennies is the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. This product is already a cult-favorite with its longwear formula and beautiful colors, so when Kat teased fans with photos of 25 new shades, the excitement was overwhelming.
Just when we thought that KVD couldn’t expand her brand any more, the Queen of Edge went and surprised us again. Along with the beautiful Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, she will be releasing Lip Liners to match. For those who are pro-lip lining (hello, Kylie!), this is fantastic news.
Kat will also be launching a Saint + Sinner Fragrance and a Shade + Light Glimmer palette, leaving us to speculate what “glimmer” actually is. While it may just be a fun name for an eyeshadow or highlighting palette (as some fans are speculating), who knows with Kat? She’s so creative that she may be teasing us with a whole new makeup product that we’ve never heard of.
All I know is that I’m going to need a lot more makeup storage this year.
