You Have to Watch This 5-Year-Old’s Precious Beauty Tutorial

We’ve all been there: after an embarrassing amount of time spent in front of the mirror, you finally accomplish your dream makeup look. On your confidence high, you start to think about how easy it would be to start your own YouTube channel—after all, it would be selfish not to share you talents with the rest of the word. Move over, Nikkie Tutorials, there’s a new beauty queen in town (or rather, on the internet). It doesn’t take you long to float back to reality, though: the only camera that you have is the one attached to your iPhone, you don’t know the correct names for half of your products, and your makeup brushes are so embarrassingly dirty you could never show them to the public.

Being a beauty blogger is hard, even for the pros. Unless, of course, you’re Charli Rose.

Expanding her résumé beyond being a Gap model, Charli is diving into the world of YouTube with a beauty tutorial video, in which she uses Tarte’s new unicorn collection. Impressive, right? Oh BTW, did I mention that she is five years old?

With a video that has already accumulated 22,000 views, Charli is not only an adorable baby blogger, but actually has some pretty good tips—even for those of us who have been wearing makeup since before she was born. Even at five years old, she knows the importance of always starting with moisturizer, and not being afraid of playing with some daring makeup tips.

Charli completes the tutorial with a teal lip and a gold sparkly eye. As wild as these choices seem, somehow she doesn’t look like a kid who just got into their mother’s makeup bag. So, are you going to take beauty advice from a five-year-old? Because I’m serious considering it…
