Throw Out Your Makeup Bag Because Caboodles Are Back

I remember a sad time in life where my makeup was thrown into a bag and finding anything required rummaging through what felt like a black hole. Enter the greatest upgrade of all time (Beyoncé plays quietly in the background): Caboodles. That’s right. The colorful compact carrying case with swivel trays and retro colors that you loved as a middle schooler are back and I am a better woman because of it. 

I’m dramatic about many things, but how a $13 plastic storage box has upgraded my life is not one of them. I bought a mini one for my skin care when I travel (because my eight step routine has no off days), and a larger one that I keep on my vanity for my day-to-day makeup routine.

Organized by product type, I wish the rest of my life was as put together as my Caboodles. And the best part about them is that they’re between $10 and $20 depending on the size, which is crucial after spending the rest of my money on what goes inside of it. I went down a Caboodles spiral while looking for inspiration and it turns out there’s a secret world of beautiful Caboodle photos all over Instagram. Let’s take a quick moment to appreciate them…
