Zariya Oberoi

Zariya Oberoi is a staff writer at the Her Campus at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As she joined in February of 2025, her duties include researching and writing articles.
She is a freshman majoring in psychology and public health with a minor in political science. Her future pursuits include law school with a focus in health law. Originally she wanted to go into healthcare however she wanted to pursue her passions of literature so she decided to combine both and chose health law. Writing has been her creative outlet since childhood, allowing her to express herself uniquely. She enjoys to write about lifestyle, fashion, self improvement, and shows/movies.

Other than writing her interests include pottery, reading, yoga, and fashion. She also enjoys to watch many early 2000s shows such as Gilmore girls, the OC, One Tree Hill, and Dawsons Creek. She was born in New Jersey but most of her life was spent in Dallas,Texas. Zariya dreams of living in New York in the future, a city she visited frequently growing up. She loves its dynamic mix of hustle and tranquility, as well as its unparalleled fashion scene.
