Hello! My name is Yamilex, but everyone calls me Yami! I currently attend Cal State San Bernardino. I am a English major with a concentration in Creative Writing. I am also trying to obtain a minor in Multimedia Storytelling. Which allows me to explore illustration, painting, other ways to tell stories. I am part of the California College Corp Program! Through this program, I help Kindergartners with their reading and math skills.
Some hobbies of mine consist of reading, baking, crafting with recyclables, drawing, painting, and volunteering! I enjoy hiking and site seeing as well. I am a big fan of learning new things, so I love to learn fun facts. For example, did you know that Bowhead Whales can live up to 200 years. Or even more honestly. I am not into movies that much, but I am a big fan of Chinese Dramas. Once I start one I can not put it down.
My favorite type of music is Alternative rock, but I do occasionally enjoy instrumental, Vocaloid, Jazz, and I feel like my music tastes are everywhere. Thank you so much for reading up to this point and I hope you have a wonderful day!
