Vera is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh in Bioengineering, and likes to write about pop culture, health, science, and entertainment.
She aspires to be a voice of both emotion and reason, and apply those same motivations to being a future physician. For now, she likes to write articles to unload feelings about topics she feels passionately about.
In her other time, she looks sadly at pictures of her dog Callie (at home, still alive), eats only authentic Chinese food in Squirrel Hill, and plays too much Pokémon GO.
